Experimental analysis of concrete flat slabs with internal stud-type shear reinforcement

Abstract This study evaluates seven flat slabs made with reinforced concrete. There are three reference slabs, one of them doesn’t present any shear reinforcement. Four have a new model reinforcement stud type, internally anchored to the flexural reinforcements. That has an additional element, called on this by name: anti-cracking pins. The main objective research is find ideal spacing between these pins achieve failure mode and load similar that conventional studs. For that, evaluated: vertical displacements, rotation, deformation, capacity mode. gain 40% 106% compared slab without studs LRef. L-5-13 presented reference, LRef-AC.
